Ajman University’s College of Business Administration (CBA), an AACSB-accredited institution, is seeking a highly motivated and accomplished scholar for the position of Assistant Professor of Hospitality Management, starting in Fall 2025/2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Hospitality Management, a passion for innovative teaching and research, and a commitment to industry engagement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to undergraduate and graduate programs, conduct high-impact research, and collaborate with key stakeholders in the hospitality and business sectors.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Ph.D. in Hospitality Management or a related field obtained from a reputable university, preferably an internationally ranked institution that is also accredited by AACSB
- Two or more years of teaching experience in an internationally reputable university, preferably accredited by AACSB
- Demonstrable record of excellence in teaching and curriculum development
- Outstanding record of research and peer-reviewed publications in top-tier business/management journals (SCOPUS, ABDC, ABS) and a commitment to impactful research
- Record of collaborative and interdisciplinary research would be an advantage
- Demonstrable record of supervising student projects and dissertations
- Excellent record of professional and community service
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, deliver and assess graduate and undergraduate courses in Hospitality Management and related fields
- Engage in innovative and technology-based approaches to teaching and learning
- Provide academic advising services to students
- Conduct high quality research and publish research outcomes in reputable journals and conferences
- Participate in committee and other service tasks at the department, college and/or university levels as assigned
- Actively engage in promoting the growth and visibility of Ajman University
- Provide industry-facing services to Ajman University partners and members of the business community
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
