Expertise: Dr. Kerr's research interests cover both Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship. Major work includes examination of the contemporary multi-industry firm, as well as resource development and performance in small firms. Gerry has undertaken projects for an extended period that have focused on aspects of ethnic/immigrant and older entrepreneurs. Recent research also explores major contributors to management thought. Publications include articles in Business Horizons, Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research, Journal of Entrepreneurship, Journal of Management History, Journal of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, and Personnel Psychology, among others.
