His research interests are international in scope and include numerous conference presentations in the US and abroad. His research has been published in the International Small Business Journal, the Journal of Marketing Channels, and the Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, as well as several edited volumes focused on entrepreneurship research. Dr. Clarkin’s recent research focuses on the emerging field of social entrepreneurship. His teaching includes classes in Social Entrepreneurship, New Venture Creation, New Venture Finance, Principles of Entrepreneurship, and Small Business Management.
