Expertise: I am interested in welfare policies in the U.S., and their consequences on a broad array of household's behaviors such as labor force participation, consumption, fertility, and health. To date, I have studied welfare programs in the U.S., primarily Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). I have examined government assistance has improved life circumstances and opportunities faced by vulnerable households.
