Her research interests include taxpayer equity, tax policy, and income shifting. Dr. Jones has published in The Tax Adviser, The CPA Journal, The Journal of Legal Tax Research, Issues in Accounting Education, and others; and has reviewed for multiple academic journals and conferences. She is a member of the American Accounting Association (AAA), the AAA’s Diversity Section, and the AAA’s American Tax Association (ATA). She currently serves as ATA Secretary and has served as an ATA Trustee.
