Kocsis’ research interests extend beyond traditional collaboration, as he is interested in the next era of collaboration: crowdsourcing. His crowdsourcing publications include applying traditional collaboration principles to large groups, ethics in crowdsourcing, and future research directions in crowdsourcing. His future research will incorporate the broad area of business intelligence and analytics (BI&A) and their use in crowdsourcing, as well as how BI&A can improve organizational processes and decision making.
