Professor Hoff's primary research interests are in the area of health policy and management. Specifically, he studies health care implementation; physician attitudes and behavior; the organizational and cultural aspects of health care quality and patient safety; changing modes of professionalism; and health care innovation. Professor Hoff has taught a variety of health policy and management courses.
