Dr Khan’s areas of research interest include small businesses and microfinance, poverty and poverty alleviation strategies, organizational change dynamics, accounting/management accounting, institutional theory, auditing, commercial, investment, and Islamic banking, financial crisis, and tertiary teaching and learning.
Dr Khan is currently working on a book and research papers, individually and in collaboration with colleagues, in the area of microfinance, poverty and poverty alleviation strategies, organizational change dynamics, accounting firms exit strategies, and financial crisis
