Expertise: Her research has been published in numerous journals including: Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Venture Capital Journal, Journal of Business Ethics,Journal of Small Business Strategy, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Management, andLeadership and Organization Development. Melissa is currently serving in five years of leadership positions with the International Association for Business and Society (IABS) and has previously served in the five-year leadership rotation for the Social Issues in Management Division of the Academy of Management. She serves on the case editorial review board for Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice and was awarded the 2012 Best Case Reviewer Award by that journal; she’s also on editorial boards for International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal and Journal of Business Ethics Education
