Dr. Adya has worked on the use of Intelligent Decision Support Systems (IDSS) for various business functions, in particular for business forecasting. As a result of this work, she has published in journals such as Information Systems Research (ISR), the International Journal of Forecasting, and the Journal of Forecasting. She has also received grants from the Naval Post Graduate School and the Naval Surface Warfare Center in support of her research in IDSS. Dr. Adya is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute and the International Institute of Forecasters. She also serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Forecasting.
