He was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia (2010 and 2019). He has won the University Teacher of the Year (twice). He is a multiple winner of the Saint Leo University Researcher of the Year (four times) and School of Business Researcher of the Year (four times) and Teacher of the Year (five times). He has also won the SLU Student Government Union (SGU) Teacher of the Year and Faculty Advisor of the Year and University Innovative Teaching and Research of the Year. He was awarded the University’s Lifetime Research Award.
