Clare’s primary research interest is personality. Her PhD identified a previously unreported personality characteristic: the ability to adapt one’s personality to the requirements of changing situations (personality adaptability). Within personality, other areas of interest include the Dark Triad and personality-team fit. Clare is also interested in, and has published research into, occupational stress.
