Zoë studies coaching from a socio-cultural poststructuralist perspective. Her broad research interests include the mapping and critiquing of problematic sport coaching practices and the development of Foucauldian informed strategies facilitating changes in coaching practices in order to create more ethical sporting outcomes. She is interested in a variety of topics such as coach and athlete learning, power and coaching, coaching effectiveness, and coaching ethics. She has published in high-quality international journals, contributed chapters to various sport coaching handbooks, and presented her research in international conferences.
