A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Hospitality or Travel and Tourism Management with at least four years of lecturing and/or industrial experience and/or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Competence to teach at least three of the following courses: Travel and Tour Operations Management, Fares and Ticketing (Amadeus); Quality Service Management for Hospitality and Tourism; Strategic Management for Hospitality and Tourism; Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Tourism Industry; Cost Accounting for Hospitality and Tourism. Competence to establish professional networks and to maintain links with the industry. Experience in developing undergraduate programmes, a credible record of lecturing, peer-reviewed publications, community engagement, supervision of students (research) undergraduate level, as well as a relevant Doctorate will be an advantage.
