The Department of Supply Chain Management in the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University welcomes applications for the position of Professor of Supply Chain Management and Pioneer Chair. Primary responsibilities include research and teaching in SCM at the undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. levels. The appointee is expected to have an internationally recognized research record in top supply chain management journals, such as those in the SCM List (http://www.scmlist.com/). Additionally, the appointee will pursue continuing research and scholarship, and provide expertise, innovation, and leadership regarding food or agricultural issues in supply chain management.
Successful applicants will be expected to have and maintain an outstanding research program in food- or agriculture-related topics targeting leading journals in supply chain management. The applicant is also expected to demonstrate strong teaching abilities. Communicating effectively with prospective and current students, industry personnel, and the wider community is essential to this position. The expected start date for this position is August 2025.
