Job Description Summary

Position: The Harbert College of Business, Marketing Department seeks applications for a tenure track position (open rank) beginning Fall, 2024.
 
The Marketing Department is focused on “strategic marketing” with an emphasis on the organizational frontline as a shared focus of the faculty. Appointment rank for the position will be contingent upon qualifications. The Auburn Marketing program includes an undergraduate major, marketing and professional sales minors, and support of our MBA programs. The successful candidate for this position will join an existing faculty team that currently includes seventeen full-time, professionally qualified faculty.

Responsibilities: Successful applicants will be expected to engage in high-quality research (evidenced by publications in leading academic journals), teach courses in the marketing program, and contribute to developing the future path for the department’s growing programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications: Applicants must possess a doctorate in Business Administration or Marketing from an AACSB-accredited institution at the time employment begins. Evidence of high-level scholarship and a consistent commitment to the establishment of a strong scholarship record are required. Excellent instructional capabilities and history are necessary, as are excellent written, organizational and communication skills. We greatly value our collegial and collaborative culture and look to build upon that strength. Selected candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of appointment and continue working legally for the duration of their employment.
