The School of Architecture and Planning at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York (SUNY), invites candidates who can enthusiastically inspire and engage architecture, planning, and real estate development students to learn by doing at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should have the ability to teach seated or online courses in architecture and design-related disciplines or conduct research/service in support of the mission and vision of the school.

Essential Functions:
  • Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of Real Estate Development, Affordable Housing, Real Estate Finance, Market Analysis, Construction Management, Real Estate Law, or Urban Planning or Architecture related to real estate.
  • Provides students with appropriate learning materials and expertise in subject area.
  • Evaluates students’ performance and provides effective feedback to guide student learning and success.
  • Responsible for contributing to and maintaining an inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to conduct research or service in support of the mission and vision of the school.

This is a pooled posting, and positions are filled on an as-needed basis.
Note: For the 24/25 academic year, courses in the real estate program will be conducted in-person.
