Job Description
The Finance Department in Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position at the Senior Lecturer level. The position will begin in the Spring semester of 2024, with an anticipated employment start date of December 25, 2023. The position is renewable based on performance. We seek an accomplished individual to teach courses to include the senior-level Applied Corporate Finance and other courses depending on the background of the individual. These courses are offered in both face-to-face and online formats.
Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities
The successful candidate must possess a demonstrated record of managerial success in a significant financial position and a strong interest in working with and mentoring students.
Minimum Qualifications - Education or training
The successful candidate must posses either an M.B.A., M.S.Fin., or Ph.D. in Finance or related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution or international equivalent.
