Position: The Auburn University Harbert College of Business, School of Accountancy seeks applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track, non-tenure eligible full-time teaching faculty position in Accounting. The contract is renewed annually based on need, funding, and performance. The position can be filled as a lecturer or professor of practice, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. This nine-month position is designed to support the Accounting degree programs in Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business.

Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the successful candidate for this position is to teach a selection of undergraduate accounting courses and participate in School, College, and University service activities. The successful candidate will be expected to bring experience, innovation, enthusiasm, technology skills, and leadership to our courses. The ability to teach various undergraduate accounting courses is required. Under typical circumstances, the teaching load for the position will be equivalent to four three-credit hour courses per semester, which includes course development and course management activities.
