A Research Fellow position is currently available in the College of Business (Nanyang Business School).

Key Responsibilities:

Working and interacting with researchers at IRFRC and GAIP, with emphasis on:

• Develop models and forecasts for pandemic risk, mortality, and morbidity rates in Asian countries.

• Collect data from various public sources.

• Conduct a comprehensive literature survey to underpin the development of risk financing solutions.

• Generate high-quality research articles and industry reports.

• Present research findings effectively to GAIP sponsors and the academic community.

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Insurance, Statistics, or related fields

• Proven research experience with a track record of publications in top-tier journals in the field

• Relevant insurance/actuarial industry experience and actuarial designations are assets, but not are not mandatory requirements.

• Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly effectiveness in communicating complex concepts to the public
